I have to find one next week for my son. The rosé of the year, beyond a doubt, is the fabulous Folie de Brun. I drank this in bottle for the first time this past week. It is a mix of all the initial fermentation batches from Brun's various Beaujolais cuvées. Absolutely delicious. My God! I'm degenerating into rote blogging! Help!

although, as you know, i am still learning this business, i must agree with your assesment of the folie de brun...my dad (the infamous mr. lillie of chambers st wines) brought home the rose last night and i nearly bowled over with joy after tasting it. i might just stick around this place a little longer.. |
